The energy sector plays a crucial role in the promotion of sustainability alongside socio-economic development in the Philippines. Indeed, measures to meet the Philippines' current and future energy demands, as well as promote cleaner energy options require collaborative efforts from all energy stakeholders.

With representatives from the public and private sectors, it will also cover discussions on initiatives and policies in addressing energy reserve issues, as well as promoting indigenous energy and energy independence, towards ensuring energy security, providing more opportunities for and improving the lives of the Filipino people, as well as overall economic progress.
