Event Details

Plastic pollution has been a global concern and has received increased attention over the recent years --- and rightly so. Zooming in on the local scenario, waste management remains to be a challenge in the Philippines on account of improper waste disposal, inefficient waste collection, the lack of disposal facilities, among others. Additionally, the ongoing COVID-19 crisis has led to a surge in disposable items, reigniting and reframing debates on plastics.

On this ECCP webinar, our esteemed experts and resource speakers will provide updates on the status of the national solid waste and plastic crisis as well as the various measures being undertaken to address it. Furthermore, this online session will feature the concept of co-processing and plastic neutrality, making a case for both as proven and viable solutions for businesses to adapt in managing their own waste and plastic footprint.
