Information and Communications Technology is crucial in how we give information, provide services, transactions, conduct business, and engage with government organizations. As of January 2021, Philippines had 74 million internet users which clearly shows that ICT is the primary growth engine for daily activities, various businesses, and even in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the importance of economic implications of ICT, proper usage of communication is vital in order to avoid disadvantages. Hence, ensuring an effective digitalization requires proper decision-making and measures to improve the internet environment and fill up infrastructural gaps.
