The early 21st century symbolizes the extensive use of technology in many sectors of e-learning, particularly, in virtual training and/or workshops. Various institutions have utilized e-learning in efforts to successfully conduct traditional training activities remotely in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rapid technological advancements in the modern era have simplified distance learning resulting in the extensive use of online techniques in the teaching-learning process.


With this, ECCP is organizing a webinar entitled "Creating Effective e-Learning Workshops" which aims to tackle a creative manner of addressing various adult learning styles that involve a comprehensive discussion on better content flow format and tips on improving presentation skills and visuals. This webinar will be held on September 30, 2021 from 10:30AM-12:00NN via Zoom in partnership with one of our members, Leaderwise Consulting. Our guest speakers for this event are Ms. Jo-Ann Vidal, Chief Learning Office of Leaderwise Consulting and Ms. Mona Lisa Obcena, Training Manager/Leader & Development Consultant of Leaderwise Consulting.

    Jo-Ann is the Chief Learning Officer of Leaderwise Consulting which she founded in 2017 in Cagayan De Oro and now operates nationwide. She currently works with several private companies, industries and government offices – supporting them in strategy and organizational development. Prior to that she was Training Head for the European Innovation, Technology and Science Center Foundation (EITSC) and was a Facilitator and Group Marketing Manager with the American Management Association for Asia Pacific. While based in CDO, she established the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines office in Northern Mindanao.

    Aside from her degree in Communications, she also holds certificates in Capacity Building and Sustainable Development, executive coaching, and predictive index. She is known to deliver strategic solutions and results, able to deliver and cascade programs to diverse and broad audiences.

    Moly Obcena is currently a Training Manager under the Elite Leader Development Management of FWD. Prior to that, She was the the Talent Management Head of Jollibee Foods Corporation's second biggest brand, Chowking. There She lead a team of 25 diverse and talented individuals for four years. Before her Chowking stint, Moly was the Head of Leader Development and Bank Training of Axa Philippines for four years. She is an MBA graduate from De La Salle University. She took programs on Financial Planning, Coaching, eLearning Production, Digital Marketing, Leadership, and Employer Branding and recently Futures Thinking. She enjoys the opportunity to discover and develop a new breed of leaders.
