Over the years, the topic of sustainability has gained traction with more and more businesses incorporating sustainable practices into their day-to-day operations due to the shift in consumer behavior towards sustainable products and services. The repercussions of the pandemic greatly contributed to increase public awareness and focus on changing the narrative and processes to a 'regenerative and restorative' one providing an opportunity for countries to move towards sustainability as a major tool to accelerate economic recovery.
