From 11th to the 12th of November , the Socialisation of the IRR to Local Government Units and Financing Opportunities aims to share key features of the new law and IRR with Local Government Units (LGUs) and discuss the development on necessary guidelines, financing opportunities, challenges and needs going forward. Key players from LGUS , government agencies and international speakers from the Green Connecticut Bank and EGS-Plan Bangkok are expected.
The Forum is organized by European Union through its Access to Sustainable Energy Programme (ASEP), the Department of Energy of the Philippines (DOE), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The Forum will bring together more than 100 -150 Local Government Units and Representatives of the Inter-agency Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee (IAEECC) IIRR coordinating agencies such as DOE, the government procurement department (DBM-GPPB), Department of Finance, Dept. of the Interior and Local Gov (DILG), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
Participants from local governments Units are the main target group for the invitees.
