Luncheon Meeting with Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian

The Philippines has seen important developments and government initiatives in the past years, among which, the "Build, Build, Build" Program, implementation of TRAIN Law and ongoing deliberations on tax reform packages, and the passage of the Ease of Doing Business Act.

As we stand positive in seeing continuous economic growth this 2019, the European Business Community remains supportive of the Philippine government in its efforts to maximize the country's potential through increased productivity and competition, and overall improvement of the business environment for both foreign and local players, which at the end of the day, will yield benefits to the Filipino people.

In this context, the ECCP looks forward to your participation in the Luncheon Meeting with Senate Economic Affairs Committee Chairperson, Senator Sherwin T. Gatchalian, to talk about key initiatives and policy directions of the Philippine Government. This event will focus on the (1) Amendments to the Commonwealth Act No. 541 or the Foreign Investments Act; (2) PCAB Licensing; and the (3) Amendments to the Government Procurement Reform Act.
