Event Details

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) has continued to launch initiatives towards the recovery of the Philippine tourism industry. Central Visayas, which is one of the top tourist destinations in the country, was one of the most affected regions as it relies heavily on its local tourism industry to fuel its economic growth.

Now, as the country moves to ease restrictions on domestic travel, the region turns to innovative solutions to reinstall tourist confidence in travelling to the region in order to revive and promote the local tourism industry in Central Visayas.

In recognition of the importance of the tourism industry in the region, the webinar entitled, "Post COVID-19 Tourism Strategies for Region 7" aims to discuss current challenges and possible solutions to help revive the local tourism industry in Central Visayas. The forum also aims to help identify possible areas of collaboration between the government and the private sector to fast-track the recovery of the tourism sector.

For registration inquiries, please contact Ms. Elena Tabbu at advocacy@eccp.com. In a separate email, you will receive the link sent via ZOOM/ECCP closer to the event date.

In line with the ECCP's continued efforts to serve you better, we invite you to participate in our short survey upon registration regarding the ECCP's possible conduct of physical events in 2021/2022. Rest assured that the Chamber will take into careful consideration all IATF protocols to ensure the safety of everyone. As always, your feedback matters to us.
