Event Details

Governing entails the employment of political, socioeconomic, and administrative activities, programs and projects, with the aim of delivering government services closer to the constituents. The Philippines has a presidential form of government, with authority divided among the executive, legislative, and judicial departments. Through this system of checks and balances, the national government, along with the local goverment units and administrative agencies, strives to act in the best interests and welfare of the population. With the Philippines currently dealing with substantial issues as a result of the ongoing pandemic and a host of other concerns, it is high time to delve into the major public governance laws of the nation, namely, the 1987 Constitution, the Local Government Code and the Administrative Code.

With the recent elections, ECCP Cagayan de Oro/Northern Mindanao Branch is organizing a webinar called "Post-Election 2022: Deep Dive Into the Philippine Governance Law" on June 7, 2022, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM via Zoom in partnership with ECCP Member Southern Block Law's Senior Partner Atty. Kenneth O. Tamala, MBA.

Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees via a separate email. For registration inquiries, please contact Joanne Natindim at joanne.natindim@eccp.com.
