Mr. Remmel R. Ortiz is currently a Director for Asset Management in one of our subsidiaries. He has over 25 years of corporate real estate experience focused on property management including managing multi- use facilities and projects and building operations services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas with various post-graduate studies in corporate real estate and environmental sustainability and management.

Oliver L. Chan, Filipino, is the Head of Sales Operations. He is a licensed mechanical engineer who obtained his degree from the University of Santo Tomas. Prior to joining ALCO, he was the Property Manager of Ayala Property Management Corporation who handled the operations of Ayala Land Inc.’s premiere retail and recreation centers, namely, the Greenbelt complex, Ayala Museum, San Antonio Plaza in Forbes Park and the retail spaces at The Residences at Greenbelt. Because of his strong customer service background, he is concurrently General Manager of Emera Property Management, Inc., the property management arm of ALCO.

Chris Butt is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Figari with our current Chairman of the Board, Darcy Lalonde. Chris has been instrumental to Figari’s success, given his 15 years of experience in developing and managing large teams and projects across the Asia-Pacific Region.

Chris graduated with a BA degree from Griffith University in Australia, with a major in Business Management. Chris is also the current Chairman of Corporate Executive Offices in the Philippines, and a Board member of Tierra International Construction Corporation.

Chris leverages off his general knowledge across the sectors of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), information technology and real estate. This, coupled with a natural flare for leadership has contributed to Figari’s sustainable growth in the industry. Customer relationships and service excellence is his number one priority when engaging in business. Under Chris’ management, Figari continues its track record as a major player in the region today.

Tanya Lara, Editor of PropertyReport.ph of The Philippine Star, who is also our media partner for today’s event. She has over 25 years of experience in journalism and has been with the Philippine Star for 22 years; she also worked in various political and lifestyle magazines. She has edited several books and co-written them, and her fiction has appeared in literary magazines. She was a journalism fellow at Seoul National University and got her journalism degree from UP Diliman.
