Event Details

BAMBOO plays a vital role in planetary and people's health -- nutritious food from shoots; refreshing beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products, kitchenware, etc. Bamboo- framed face shields are being utilized by frontliners. Climate-smart technologies (including design and construction), bamboo charcoal products, "green packaging", bamboo textile, and modes of transportation are rapidly gaining recognition. Bamboo music and art therapy are included not only in educational and cultural endeavours, but also in psycho-social interventions for communities affected by calamities, this global pandemic and armed conflict. "Standardization, Creativity and Health Eco-Innovations with Bamboo" is a webinar which will also discuss the relevant legislation and highlights on the global standardization of Bamboo towards achieving the climate agenda and SDGs, among others.
