Event Details

Over the years, the 'circular economy' concepthas gained traction as producers and consumers recognize that the widely used linear economy model of "take-make-dispose" approach will ultimately result in resource depletion, excessive waste, and environmental degradation. There has been an increased focus on changing the narrative and processes to a 'regenerative and restorative' one --- converting waste into productive inputs, reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, and their adverse health and environmental consequences.

To guide countries and businesses in their transition, the need for an assessment framework to ensure the sustainability of products and services is crucial. Life CycleAssessment is a tool used to analyze the impact of a product and business models to the environment across its life cycle, allowing decision makers to effectively re-evaluate their system and make informed decisions in pursuit of sustainability.

Tune in and hear from experts how life cycle analysis can help your organization account for how much greenhouse gas your business generates directly and indirectly and realign to a more earth-friendly and sustainable model. This webinar is brought to you by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines in partnership with Monopteros - sustainability and management consultants.
