The role of technology in safeguarding both buildings and occupants against unseen threats has been moved front and center by the COVID-19 pandemic. From a commercial real estate standpoint, the pandemic is also expected to push for the digitalization of many aspects of the value chain from brokerage to valuation to property management. There is a new appreciation for what property technology (or PropTech) can do.

Organized by the ECCP Real Estate Committee, this webinar will feature industry leaders on the emerging trend of PropTech as they share insights on how digitization is transforming the real estate practice. Conrad Alampay of Digiscript will share about leveraging 3D reality capture in the property and construction industry. Eli Becislao of C Estates will unpack tokenization technology and how cryptocurrencies provide a glimpse into the future of cross-border real estate transactions. Lastly, Raffy Montemayor of Carousell will draw attention to how digital platforms can complement face-to-face transactions in this time of restricted movements.
