The Philippine water sector significantly cuts across several sectors, highlighting its importance in sustaining livelihoods and driving economic development. However, insufficient access to clean water and sanitation persist due to the lack of infrastructure and the lack of integrated water resource management. As a result, the demand for water continues to escalate, further exacerbating the country's level of water stress. Tied to the climate crisis, addressing these rampant critical water and sanitation-related challenges remain imperative to improve water resources management.
To foster meaningful dialogues and strengthen partnership within the water sector, the ECCP is pleased to present the 2024 Water Challenge Forum, which will be held on 17 July, 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Join us at this Forum as we engage with policymakers and industry experts to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the sector's current landscape as well as the proposed plans, regulations, and frameworks aligned with the push for the advancement towards water security.
Objectives
Enhance understanding of the current water security landscape in the Philippines;
Bring together policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to address critical-water related challenges facing the Philippines; and
