Understanding the Urgency of Net Zero [Webinar]

This free webinar is designed to raise awareness among business owners and leaders in the Philippines about the critical importance of achieving net zero. It will highlight the pressing need for immediate climate action and provide an in-depth briefing on the Race to Zero campaign.


The session will feature:

  • An expert discussion on the unique climate challenges faced by the Philippines, one of the most disaster-prone countries, and the long-term impact on business investments.
  • A presentation by a Race to Zero representative, covering the campaign's goals and the crucial role the private sector plays in global climate solutions, especially in the lead-up to COP29 in Azerbaijan.


Speakers will include Commissioner Albert P. Dela Cruz Sr. from the Climate Change Commission, who will address the climate challenges faced by the Philippines. Jane Eisenhardt, Engagement and Acceleration Manager for Race to Zero, will discuss the campaign's goals and the role of the private sector. Additionally, Dawn Cabigon, Campaign Manager for Race to Zero in the Philippines, will present on local initiatives and how businesses can contribute to national climate goals.
